Last Lunch

Clouds

After a week of chilly rains, the sun finally broke through; just in time for us to have a last lunch on the roof.  We soaked up the sun, ate a little, and watched those crazy ‘busy birds’ zoom over our heads.  These birds are a type of swallow, here they are called ‘rondole’, or something like that, because they just fly around and around in great whooshing circles looking for bugs to eat.
It’s time to close down the house, and head back to NY, but we’ll be back in Montone, in just a few weeks.
Here’s our first bunch of grapes on our roof top vine! May it be the first of many!
