Economy Candy
This is my official apology to my friend Mitch. You were right about Economy Candy. Mitch told me about this candy store that has all these candies that you remember from your youth, but haven’t seen in eons and never thought were still being made. I told him there was no way Necco’s were still being made, or the paper strips with candy dots, or non-parielles (however you spell it, the little chocolate domes with white sprinkles), or Violet gum. The list could go on and on.
I stand fully corrected because going to Economy Candy is like a big trivia game where every candy you can remember is there somewhere. I pictured a dusty old store, something that time and man had forgotten, with layers of dusting blanketing the sounds of yesteryear. Hello! The shop is packed with candy, packed with people; there was a line 10 deep when we went to check out. If you want to buy your movie sized gigantic candies at a fraction of the cost….Economy Candy is the place. Really need some red wax lips, or a few wax bottles of Lik A Nip? Head over to Economy Candy. What candies do you remember??

Enough with the chocolate!! LOL
Can’t tell you how much fun we had with the wacky dots on paper…. my sister gets her box of gummi band-aids today. What a sweet store. (sorry, couldn’t resist)
